About Providence Baptist Church
We are a group of sinners, redeemed by an Almighty and Gracious God. Romans 5:8 says, “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” No matter where you are on your journey, you belong here. At Providence Baptist, we gather every Sunday to dive into God’s Word and support one another in friendship. We aren’t just a church; we’re a family, and we can’t wait to welcome you home.
Our History
Providence Baptist Church has a long and rich history dating back to its founding in 1887. While much has changed over the past nearly 140 years, God’s provision has never wavered. We are grateful for His faithfulness in every season and pray that Providence Baptist will continue to be a light in our community and beyond for years to come.
What We Believe
Our mission and calling are to “Love God and Love Others.” Our hope is that every person who enters our church experiences the goodness of God and the love of His people.
Our Leadership
We are thankful God has emboldened an amazing leadership team from our pastors to our deacons, who always point us to the Gospel and are passionate about serving our congregation, community, and world.
